Don’t loose a walk along the riverbank of River Garonne. This river flows into the sea few kilometres north of the city, and the most curios fact is that water direction changes: during the day it flows from the sea to the valley (with the high tide), and at night it flows in the opposite way from the valley to the sea (with the low tide). .. see more
Pont du Pierre was the first Bordeaux’s bridge, it was built between 1810 and 1822 by Napoleon. .. see more

With its 126.000 square meters, the place des Quinconces is the biggest square of Europe. The main monument of the square is the Monument aux Girondins built between 1894 and 1902. Near the monument there is the impressive column Colonne de Dumilatre and a nice fountain with horses. .. see more

Lo specchio d’acqua (Miroir d’eau) è un’ingegnosa idea del 21° secolo. Situato di fronte alla piazza della Borsa e lungo la riva del fiume Garonne, il Miroir d’eau è una curiosa piazza riempita con due dita d’acqua. Il risultato è un fresco "laghetto" pieno di bambini che giocano assieme agli adulti. .. vedi
Da non perdere una passeggiata lungo le rive del Garonne. Questo fiume sfocia nel mare pochi chilometri a nord della città e la cosa più curiosa è che il flusso dell’acqua inverte la direzione! Di giorno l’acqua scorre dal mare alle montagne per effetto dell’alta marea, mentre di notte cambia verso e scorre dalle montagne al mare (bassa marea). .. vedi
