Along the valley is easy hear the loud noise of stags, and is quite easy see marvelous stags with their impressive horns (altitude over 2000 - 2200m). Park your car in Temů town and choose your itinerary from 4 to 10 hours, hiking for beginner and expert people. Walking from 1300m to 2900m and Mountains till 3200m. On the map is marked: Val Canč ’s Chamois Stelvio - Meetings with Flocks of Chamois are frequent over 2000m in all seasons in Val Canč. Female chamois and their kids live in herds, grown-up males tend to live solitary for most of the year. On the map is marked: St. Valentino Valley`s Alpine Ibex - Stelvio National Park borders Adamello Natural Park. Alpine Ibex lives in Adamello, in Val S. Valentino (St. Valentine Valley) over 2500m, and near Cima di Plem (Plem Mountain). On the map is marked: Stelvio`s Marmot - Marmots are large ground squirrels (rodent family). When I saw first marmot I asked: `what is this??`. Marmots seem like brown dog with black muzzles like rabbit, soft long queues, they whistle like eagles! Very loud whistles of marmots are frequent in Stelvio National Park over 2.000m altitude.
