The Fauna is rich in endemic species (that is, they occur only here); the best known exotic creatures are the lemurs and camaleons which can be easily seen in natural parks. <br>Nosy Be is a perfect destination for who loves both excursions and relax. It is an island situated 15 km off Ambanja on the north-western coast of Madagascar and has a surface of 321 kmq. The best period to visit it is from April to December, during the dry season.
