Piazza dei Miracoli

The monuments which transform Piazza del Duomo in Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) are the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Churchyard and above all the Leaning Tower of Pisa known the world over. These four medieval architecture masterpieces influenced substantially art in Italy from the 11th to the 14th century. Campo dei Miracoli has been declared an World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Leaning Tower of  Pisa - The Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply The Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa) is the bell tower or campanile of the Cathedral of Pisa, its building began in 1174 by Bonanno Pisano, but when the tower reached the third storey began sinking into the ground, so the works was suspended for 90 years.
