On the map is marked: Rynek (Market Square) - The Rynek (Market Square) is the heart of the city, the City Hall (gothic and renaissance architecture) was built in the middle of the square. There are multi-coloured buildings around the square. On the map is marked: Rynek By Night - The Market Square becomes crowd of people at night, Rynek is a good place where have good time in restaurants, cafes, pubs and also ice skating rink in winter. On the map is marked: Plac Solny (Solny Square) - Solny Square is next to Market Square, it contains flower kiosks which are open day and night. On the map is marked: The Cathedral Island - The Cathedral Island is the oldest part of Wroclaw (Wroc?aw). The Odra River and dozens of little canals flow near the island. Main buildings of the island are the Wroclaw (Wroc?aw) Cathedral, Krzyza Church and Archdiocesan Museum. On the map is marked: University of Wroclaw - The University of Wroclaw is situated in the biggest baroque complex of the city, it has the largest baroque interior in Poland. The University is near the Odra River. On the map is marked: Hala Ludowa (Centenary Hall) - The Hala Ludowa (Centenary or Centennial Hall) was built in 1911-13 by Max Berg, it`s a pioneering work of modern engineering and architecture, in the early 20th century it was the world’s biggest domelike structure built in reinforced concrete (65m diameter, 42m high, seat for 6,000 persons). Today it’s a place for congress, exibitions, and sporting events. The Centennial Hall belongs to UNESCO World Heritage. On the map is marked: Municipal Park, Centenary Hall - The Municipal park is joined to the Centenary Hall. The lake with a fountain is in the middle of the park, the park is very nice in in winter, the lake is iced, and gardens are covered by snow. On the map is marked: Japanese Garden - The Japanese Garden (founded in 1913) is joined to the municipal park. On the map is marked: Covered Market - The covered market (near Piaskowy Bridge) was built in early XX century, it has high arches in reinforced concrete. Inside there are dozens of shops which sell everything. On the map is marked: Grunwaldzki Bridge - The Grunwaldzki Bridge is the most important of the 112 Wroclaw’s bridges. On the map is marked: Fosa Miejska - The Fosa Miejska is located in the south side of the historical centre. The Oder River (Odra) and The Fosa Miejska surround the historical part of the city. On the map is marked: Zwierynie Bridge - Zwierynie is another bridge with nice views over the Odra river.
