The Hala Ludowa (Centenary or Centennial Hall) was built in 1911-13 by Max Berg, it`s a pioneering work of modern engineering and architecture, in the early 20th century it was the world’s biggest domelike structure built in reinforced concrete (65m diameter, 42m high, seat for 6,000 persons). The Municipal park is joined to the Centenary Hall. The lake with a fountain is in the middle of the park, the park is very nice in in winter, the lake is iced, and gardens are covered by snow. .. see more

The covered market (near Piaskowy Bridge) was built in early XX century, it has high arches in reinforced concrete. Inside there are dozens of shops which sell everything... see more

I noticed a monument which represents rich Polish people entering inside the road (metaphor of start of the war) and coming out very poor. It impressed me very much... see more

Rynek Market Square (Piazza del Mercato) è il cuore della città, il palazzo municipale (architettura gotica e rinascimentale) fu edificato nel centro della piazza. Ci sono case ed edifici variopinti (colori pastello) attorno alla piazza... vedi

L`isola della Cattedrale (The Cathedral Island) è la parte più vecchia di Wroclaw (Wroc?aw). Il fiume Odra (Odra River) e dozzine di piccoli canali scorrono vicino all`isola. La University of Wroclaw (Università) si trova nel più grande complesso barocco della città, ha i più grandi ambienti interni barocchi della Polonia. L`università si affaccia sul fiume Odra... vedi
La Hala Ludowa (Centenary o Centennial Hall) fu costruita nel 1911-13 da Max Berg, rappresenta il pionierismo dell`ingegneria e architettura moderna, all`inizio del 20° secolo fu la più grande costruzione in cemento armato a forma di cupola (65m diametro, 42m altezza, posti a sedere per 6.000 persone). Il Parco Municipale è attaccato al Centenary Hall. Nel mezzo del parco c`è un lago con una fontana. Il parco è molto bello in inverno quando il lago è ghiacciato e i giardini coperti da candida neve. .. vedi

Il mercato coperto nei pressi del ponte Piaskowy Bridge fu costruito all`inizio del 20° secolo, ha alti archi in cemento armato. Dentro si trovano doddine di negozi che vendonon un po` di tutto... vedi

Ho notato un monumento che raffigura dei Polacchi ricchi che entrano dentro alla strada (metafora dell`entrata in guerra) e ne escono dall`altro lato completamente impoveriti. Mi ha colpito molto... vedi
