The Vizcaya Bridge or Puente Colgante or Hanging Bridge designed by Alberto de Palacio and completed in 1893 was the first transporter bridge of the world. For this reason has been has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Vizcayais is a 45-metre-high bridge, its span of 160 m.

Uno degli edifici più belli del mondo, il Guggenheim è un museo d’arte moderna e contemporanea inaugurato nel 1997. L’innovativa costruzione fatta in titanio, vetro e pietra limestone è un’opera dell’architetto Frank Gehry.
