Before departure (5,00 in the morning) staff prepared and pumped hot air into balloons... see more
At 6,00 in the morning there were 20 hot-air-balloons in the sky, they can fly only at sunrise because the wind of the day could be dangerous... see more

Fly is an unforgettable experiences and landing is incredible too: the jeep pilot try to guess where the balloon will land and reach the right position, after the balloon pilot land exaclty on the jeep. When the balloon is near to the ground staff pushes the basket over the jeep... see more

Ilhara Valley is a wonderful green place (45Km south est Aksaray) in a canyon. In the middle there is Melendiz river where is possible take a bath during the hot afternoons (in the summer)... see more

Cappadocia
La Cappadocia (o Kapadokya) é la parte centrale della Anatolia, fu importante fin dal tempo degli Ittiti, molto prima della nascita di Cristo. E` famosa nel mondo per i `Camini delle Fate`, le chiese nelle grotte di roccia vulcanica pitturate con affreschi, le città sotterranee, i paesaggi lunari e i magici villaggi (vedi le 20 foto più belle della Cappadocia)... vedi
Prima della Partenza (alle 5,00 del mattino) lo staff ha preparato e riempito i palloni di aria calda... vedi
Alle 6,00 della mattina c`erano 20 mongolfiere nel cielo, infatti possono volare solo all`alba perché il vento del giorno potrebbe essere pericoloso... vedi

ma ho scoperto che possono volare anche basse, estremamente basse, sopra e tra i `camini delle fate`... vedi
Volare è una esperienza indimenticabile, anche l`atterraggio è incredibile: il pilota della jeep cerca di indovinare dove atterrerà la mongolfiera e raggiunge la posizione precisa, poi tocca al pilota della mongolfiera che atterra direttamente sul carrello trainato dalla jeep. Quando il pallone si avvicina al terreno uno staff spinge il cesto sopra al carrello... vedi
Ho dormito a Göreme, un magico villaggio nel cuore della Cappadocia, consiglio una passeggiata a piedi durante la notte (mezz`ora è sufficiente perché il villaggio è piccolo)... vedi

Di notte ci sono Pubs tipici turchi dove la gente si diverte, canta, e suona le chitarre turche fino alle 6 di mattina, il mio preferito è il Flistones Bar... vedi

La chiesa buia (Karanlik Kilise) è la meglio conservata nel museo all`aria aperta, prende il nome dalla piccola finestra nel narthex che consente il passaggio di poca luce. Grazie all`assenza di luce i colori degli affreschi bizantini si sono conservati e sono ancora vivaci... vedi

Devrent Valley (o la valle dei camini delle fate) è uno dei più importanti posti con camini delle fate, si trova lungo la strada che collega Avanos e Ürgüp, ci sono arrivato con uno scooter che ho noleggiato a Göreme... vedi

La Cappadocia ha dozzine di città sotterranee troglodite scavate durante il periodo degli Ittiti, ed espanse nei secoli successivi. La più grande e complessa è Derinkuyu, 30 km a sud di Nev?heir. Gli Ittiti hanno scavato stanze, scuole, pozzi, chiese, cimiteri... vedi
Questa città sotterranea è la più profonda della Cappadocia, si estende per 12 livelli nel sottosuolo. I livelli (piani) sono collegati tra loro da tunnels e scale... vedi
Le porte costituite da pietre tonde rotolanti impedivano agli invasori di entrare nella città (come nel film Indiana Jones!)... vedi

Il caravanserraglio Hoca Mestust (Hagzi Kara Han) costruito nel 1921-1929 era uno dei più grandi situato sulla rotta tra Aksaray e Kaisery. Si costituisce di due parti, una aperta e una chiusa. Un caravanserraglio è una costruzione dove una volta si fermavano le carovane a trascorrere la notte e a concludere affari... vedi
Oggi le carovane non ci sono più, ma si possono vedere e cavalcare dromedari in tutti i posti più conosciuti della Cappadocia... vedi
Ilhara Valley è un bellissimo posto verde (45Km a sud est di Aksaray) in un canyon. In mezzo alla valle scorre il torrente Melendiz dove è possibile fare un bagno nei caldi pomeriggi d`estate... vedi
Nei cieli della valle dell`Ilhara volano grandi uccelli (non so che uccelli siano, guarda le foto e prova a scoprirlo)... vedi
La valle dell`Ilhara era uno dei posti preferiti dai monaci bizantini, nel passato costruirono (scavarono) e affrescarono dozzine di chiese. Oggi è possibile vedere chiese e grotte in ogni angolo della valle, si può anche entrare e visitarle (ricordati la pila altrimenti non vedi!)... vedi
La chiesa Agacalti (Agacalti Kilisesi) è una delle tante nella valle dell`Ilhara. I monaci bizantini dipinsero affreschi colorati sul soffitto e sulle pareti della grotta... vedi
Hai mai mangiato con i piedi e le gambe nell`acqua di un torrente? Nella valle dell`Ilhara ci sono strani ristoranti con sedie e tavoli in mezzo al torrente Melendis. .. vedi

Sembra a un Museo, ma non lo è, si tratta dellesposizione della Fabbica Artigianale di Guray, che offre visite guidate gratuite spiegate molto bene. Si trova sulla strada che da Avanos sale a Goreme, poco fuori dal paese di Avanos... vedi
