On the map is marked: Top Pictures of Morrocoy NP - The Parque Nacional Morrocoy (Morrocoy National Park) is located on the north-west coast of Venezuela, about 170 km north-west of Caracas, it`s in the State of Falcon. The park contains municipalities of Tucacas and Chichirivichee. Morrocoy offers not only marvellous beaches, but also amazing nature with corals and fish, flamingos, birds.
On the map is marked: Chichiriviche - Chichiriviche is a village near the sea. Not far from the village there are good beaches. Chichiriviche is the point of departure for Morrocoy islands and beaches. Near the village live pink flamingos.
On the map is marked: Cayo Muerto - Cayo Muerto (means dead key) is the closest island to Chichiriviche, it has palm trees and sand beaches.
On the map is marked: Cayo Sombrero - Cayo Sombrero (means hat key ) has two large beaches with palm trees, it`s the ideal place for snorkeling. Overnight camping is allowed in Cayo Sombrero. Cayo Sombrero is one of the well-known islands of Morrocoy National Park.
On the map is marked: Los Juanes - Los Juanes is also called `the swimming pool`, it hasn`t sand beaches, and requires boats to be visited.
On the map is marked: Cayo Pelon - Cayo Pelon (means bald key) is a very tiny island, located in the Chichiriviche area. It has only white sand without vegetation and is surrounded by corals.
